PROPOSED CHANGE TO THE BYLAWS - TO BE VOTED ON BY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP AT MARCH 20, 2024 GENERAL MEETING

Article V: Officers
 
Section Two: Term of Office, Term Limits.
 
The term of office for President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, and Corresponding Secretary shall be one (1) year. The term of office for Treasurer shall be two (2) years.

For the continuity of the Corporation, the President and Vice President will be assigned to two-year, staggered terms. Initially, the President term will expire at the 2025 Annual Meeting and the Vice President term will expire at the 2026 Annual Meeting. At the 2025 Annual Meeting the Presidency becomes a 2-year term.
 
To establish staggered terms, for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, the election for President will be a 1-year term and the Vice President will be a 2-year term. For the 2024-2025 fiscal year, if no one else is interested in running for the 1-year Presidency term, the current President term extends to 2-years and the current President continues until the 2025 Annual Meeting elections.
